Only answers we can stand behind are published here. If a question isn't listed, it's because the honest answer is still being decided — not because we're hiding it.
A private brain for your business. You feed it your rules, prices and policies; your team and customers ask in plain words; it answers only from what you fed it, shows where each answer came from, and says "I don't know" when the answer isn't there.
Small businesses where the same questions come up every day — prices, policies, hours, what's included — and the answers live in the owner's head or in documents nobody can find quickly. Shops, trades, service businesses, clinics' front desks, and anyone whose team keeps asking them.
The everyday factual kind: what things cost, what your policies are, when you're open, what a package includes, which areas you serve, how a process works. It answers from your knowledge only — it doesn't book appointments, take payments, or give professional advice.
No. SIBrain44 works in your browser. "Install a brain" is our way of saying you set up a brain for your business — there's no download, no server, and nothing to maintain.
No. If you can attach a file or paste text, you can feed your brain. Everyone who asks uses everyday words — there are no commands or codes to learn.
Start with what people ask you most: your price list and your most-used policies. One useful document is enough to begin — you can add more any time, and your unanswered list will show you what to add next.
A good first ten minutes: paste one page with your prices, one page with your hours and house rules — then ask it five questions you already know the answers to, and check each source.
Yes. Paste the words straight in and give the document a name. Many owners paste a price list or a policy in under a minute.
PDF, Word (.docx), plain text (.txt) and Markdown (.md) files — or pasted text. If a file holds its words as text, SIBrain44 can learn from it.
A scanned page that is only a picture has no readable words in it, so it may not learn anything — paste the text instead and it works every time. Simple tables usually read fine; if an answer ever looks off, the pasted-text version of the same document is the safest copy.
The surest test: if you can select the words in the file with your mouse, the brain can read them. And text you paste in always reads perfectly.
Starter and the free trial hold up to 25 documents; Pro is unlimited. There's no file-size limit set in the app itself — if a very large file doesn't go through, splitting it into two smaller documents works.
Remove the old document and add the new version — answers follow the new document right away. There's no edit button today; remove and re-add takes a moment. Removing a document deletes it and everything the brain learned from it.
For example: when a cleaning goes from $120 to $130, remove the old price list, add the new one, then ask "How much is a cleaning?" and watch it answer $130 with the new list as its source.
Not automatically, today. Your brain knows what you feed it here. If a price changes on your website, update the document here too — remove the old one, add the new one.
You can feed documents in another language and ask in that language — the answers still come only from your documents. Our own testing before opening was done in English.
Only from yours. It never pulls answers from the open internet, and never from another business's workspace.
Every answer names the document it came from, right underneath it. Anyone can check the answer against that document.
For example: ask "How much is a teeth cleaning?" and the answer arrives as "$120" with "From: Price List 2026" underneath — so you can open that document and check the line yourself.
It says "I don't know — that's not in this workspace's papers yet." No guessing. The question is saved on your unanswered list so you can see what's missing and add it.
For example: if nobody has fed it your Wi-Fi password, that is exactly what it answers — it never fills the gap with a guess.
An answer can only be as good as the knowledge behind it. If a document is outdated or wrong, the answer follows it — which is why every answer shows its source, and why keeping documents current matters. It will not invent facts to fill a gap; gaps get an honest "I don't know."
It answers from the passage that matches the question best, and shows that source — so you can spot the disagreement. The clean fix is to remove the outdated document; one current version means one answer.
Your brain only knows what you last fed it. When a price or policy changes, remove the old document and add the new one — every answer after that uses the new version.
On November 5, 2026, before opening, we loaded real documents — a dental clinic's patient information sheets and the real documents of two working businesses — and asked 62 questions across two full runs: real questions, trick questions the documents never answer, and questions belonging to a different business. Result: 22 of 22 real questions answered correctly with the source shown, 8 of 8 trick questions refused, cross-business questions refused, 0 answers invented. It's a test result, not a guarantee — the source under every answer is there so anyone can check.
No. It never learns automatically. Questions it can't answer are listed for you, and you decide what to add. You are always the one who decides what your brain knows.
Your account gives you an ask link. Send it to your team — anyone who opens it can ask your brain. It's in your workspace, one click to copy.
For example: your newest hire bookmarks the link on her phone. A customer asks about Sunday hours; she asks the link instead of guessing — and gets the answer with the shop sheet shown as its source.
No. Only you, the owner, need an account. Your team asks through the link — no sign-ups, no passwords for them.
Not today. Everyone with the link can ask about anything in that workspace's knowledge. If something is internal-only, keep it out of a workspace you share — or keep that workspace's link private to the people who should have it.
Reset the link in your workspace. The old link — including a website question box that uses it — stops working right away, and you get a new one to share.
Yes — they collect on the unanswered list in your workspace, with the time they were asked. It's your to-do list for what to feed next.
Pro. Starter and the free trial include the team ask link; the customer box for your own website is the Pro addition.
For example: a visitor asks "Do you serve Burlington?" at 9 pm. The box answers from your service-areas page, with the source — and the question is waiting in your workspace next time you look.
Your Pro workspace shows you one line of code. Paste it into your website — anywhere that lets you add a snippet of HTML — and a green "Ask us" button appears. Customers click it and ask.
No. Customers just ask. No sign-up, no password, nothing to install for them.
Customers see an answer and the name of the document it came from — never the document itself. But the box answers from the same knowledge as your team link, so anything you feed that workspace can be asked about. Feed it what you're happy for customers to hear, and keep internal-only material out of a workspace you put on your website.
The box carries your business's name (it says "Ask [your business]") and uses SIBrain44's standard look. Colour and greeting choices aren't available today.
The customer sees an honest "I don't know" — never a guess — and the question lands on your unanswered list so you can add what's missing.

You, through your account. Your documents are never used to answer another business's questions — we tested that separation directly before opening. People you share your ask link with can ask questions and see answers with source names, but they can't open your documents or your account.
Your account and documents are stored with Supabase, our database provider (United States region). To work out answers, the relevant passages of your documents are processed through OpenAI's API. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see your card number.
Under OpenAI's API terms, data sent through an API is not used to train their models. Your documents are used for one thing: answering your workspace's questions.
Be thoughtful. Anything in a workspace can be asked about by anyone who has that workspace's link or website box. Public prices, policies and handbooks are perfect. Patient records, personal data, passwords and internal-only material don't belong in a shared workspace.
Any time, in your workspace — remove a document and it's deleted, along with everything your brain learned from it, and the brain stops answering from it immediately.
There's no export button today. Your documents stay in your workspace, and you can remove them one by one at any time. Your original files are of course still yours, wherever you keep them.
Nothing is deleted automatically. Your workspace and documents stay saved as they are. If you cancel a paid plan, it runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
When you create your first workspace — not when you create your account. Take your time setting up; the clock starts with your first workspace.
So if you sign up on Monday and create your workspace on Wednesday, your 14 days start on Wednesday.
No. No card is asked for at sign-up, in your workspace, or anywhere in the trial.
The Starter plan for 14 days: up to 25 documents, 500 questions in the month, the team ask link, sources on every answer, and the unanswered list. The customer website box is Pro-only and isn't part of the trial.
Nothing is charged — we never had your card. Choose Starter or Pro to continue as a paying customer. Your workspace and documents stay saved either way.
Starter: 25 documents, 500 questions a month, the team ask link. Pro: unlimited documents and questions, plus the customer question box for your own website.
US dollars. No tax is added at checkout today.
There's no pause button today. You can cancel from the billing portal — your plan runs to the end of the paid period — and start again when you're ready.
From your workspace, through Stripe's billing portal. Upgrading starts a paid plan; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period, so you keep what you've paid for. In testing we ran the full loop — checkout, upgrade, cancellation, and the plan changing back — and it behaved exactly that way.
Starter's limits are 25 documents and 500 questions a month. If you reach one, you get a plain message saying so — documents past the limit aren't added, and questions past the limit get a "limit reached" reply. There are no overage charges and no surprise fees. Pro has no document or question limits.
